Return & Refund Policy
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Important Order Cancellation Policy
Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once they have entered our shipping process, whether the package has been labeled and prepared for shipment or is already in transit (en route). If you choose to cancel an order pre-shipment or en route, an additional cancellation fee of $25โ$40 will apply to cover packaging, processing, and shipping reversal costs. This fee will be deducted from your total refund amount.
To start a return, you can contact us at emilysaccessorize@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Return Shipping Responsibility
All return shipping labels and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. EmilyShop does not provide or pay for return shipping labels. The customer must purchase and arrange their own return shipping.
Return Timeline & Tracking Requirement
Once your return is approved, you have 7 days to ship the item back to us. You must also send us the tracking information for your return shipment via email to emilysaccessorize@gmail.com. Returns sent without tracking information provided will not be eligible for a refund. All shipments are tracked through our shipment facility, so we will be able to confirm receipt independently.
Inspection Process
Once your returned item is received, we will carefully inspect it for any damages, stains, signs of wear, or alterations. If the item arrives in its original, undamaged condition, your refund will be processed and sent through your original payment method. If damages, stains, or signs of use are found upon inspection, we reserve the right to deny the refund or apply a deduction based on the condition of the item.
Chargeback Policy
Filing a false chargeback or fraudulent dispute will result in a permanent ban from EmilyShop. All orders and shipments are tracked through our shipment facility, and we maintain full records of every transaction, shipment, and delivery confirmation, including timestamps, tracking numbers, signed delivery receipts, and customer communications.
In the event of a false or fraudulent chargeback, we will submit all documented evidence directly to your bank, credit card company, or payment provider to dispute the claim. This includes proof of purchase, delivery confirmation, tracking records, and any communication on file. False chargebacks will also be reported as fraudulent activity to the appropriate payment processors and may be flagged on your account with your financial institution.
We have the legal right and the documented evidence to dispute any chargeback. Any customer found filing false claims will be permanently blocked from making future purchases on our store and may face additional legal consequences.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 30 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 40 business days have passed since we've approved your return, please contact us at emilysaccessorize@gmail.com.
